In 2015 Ross Compton was enlisted by Robert Bollinger to design the first Bollinger Motors EV - the B1. In 2017 the B1 prototype was released at the Manhattan Car Club to mass appeal. This kick started the company and pushed them into the mainstream within the EV world.
Now, in 2021, Ross has taken the original design and created his latest version, designed to deliver a unique, stylish and tough vehicle. The result is this - the Macchina B1.
Removed from the original but still sharing defining characteristics of the B1, the Macchina B1 takes a bulky, retro style and pushes it into the new age ensuring it stands above the rest in terms of aesthetic, tech and presence. The softer edges have been hardened and the overall stance has been improved. The rear has been extended marginally and then dramatically cut by a 90 degree angle - aiding the tough physique. Tech improvements can be found too, with side cameras, multi screen technology and connectivity.
